If the Occident can be represented by a Celtic Cross, the Eastern world could be represented by the Yin Yan or the Hindu Swastika. What this means? Looking to my current view of physics, I would interpret this as showing the different approach to nature: West choose direct action (F^external=ma, energy!) or crossing paths that may mean confrontation or matching; the Eastern approach prefers to get around issues (vortex-like structures, “be like water, my friend”, entropy), see them from different perspectives… Anyway, neither is better than the other, in fact, the two are complementary… Do political sciences take this into account?
