“So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” (Genesis 11:8-9)
After the Flood Noah’s son, Ham had a son named Cush, and his son was Nimrod. 4000 years ago, Nimrod attempted to install the first world government and didn’t succeed, luckily… Nimrod wanted to take God’s place after the Great Flood. He built the Tower of Babel and imposed one language to the people in order to better control them. But God was attentive and created confusion among people when He introduced so many languages in a way that people didn’t understand each other, and, more importantly, didn’t understand the rising empire propaganda, or didn’t become well aware of what was going on… A lot of accounts on Babylon can be found in the prophetic books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel, and also in apostle John’s enigmatic description found in “Mystery, Babylon the Great”… Babylon in Hebrew means confusion and it was the name of a city where a false religion, the Tower of Babel, conspired to practice astrology and idolatrous worship. Its importance is so great that it is cited in the Bible more than 250 times!
As a sign of the times, EU Parliament in Strasbourg resembles the Tower of Babel…In NY they are building one, too.
