It is always difficult to define a line between the divine and the human. Was the Christ a man like us, or a divinity? Nikis Kazantsakis in the Last Temptation has chosen the first approach. That Jesus was a man, strugling against his own fears, like all of us. That a voice saved him from the crucification and he married, had children, like the majority of us. But, then, what he had accomplished? And h(H)e asked God, h(H)is Father, to save humanity through h(H)is crucification and all was accomplished. This movie was and is very controversial, but makes us think about us, our fears, and our major fear, not to be brave enough to accomplish what we have to do in this life…
