The Portuguese popular music has some creativity and Michel Giacometti (1929-1990) collected a rich treasure all around the country. Lacking an appropriated and expensive instrument (for the peasants), with anything at hand to give the rithm (here a kind of reco reco made with the fastening on crotch of clothing) the music was present in the loneliness of the country, a linkage to the divine.
